Quotations

Create a new quotation
To create a quotation, fist create a new customer (Customer Management) or open an existing account.

If you have created a new customer, you will also have created a job. If not, find the job you require or create a new job (See add a job)

From the job overview page, click "Add New Quote". This will open the Create Quote screen.

To add a line to the quote, double click on the box or start typing to see a dropdown of all products. If you need to add additional products, see Products Once you have a product you can overtype the description if necessary and make changes to the price, quantity and VAT rate.
You can now add additional products as required.

Change the order of products by clicking on the arrows to the left of the quote lines and then click "save"

When you have finished adding and amending quote lines, click "create Quote"

You will now be able to see the quote you have just created on the overview page. You can now click on the quote number to see a quick view or view the quote as a pdf by clicking "print/view"

Once you are happy with a quote, you can email it to a client by cliking "email"

Amending a Quotation
If you need to change a quote, click "copy quote" from the job overview page. This will open the existing quote and allow you to add or remove order lines. Once finished, click "Create New Quote"

The new quote you have just created will take the old quotation number plus a letter at the end as its number. This allows you to see how the quote has evolved.
